¡¡¡¡Zhonghua Road Business District lies in the core area of
northern Dalian. It is the key area between Dalian main urban
area and the satellite cities and it is also a doorway for people
to go in and out of Dalian and will be Dalian main urban area
after developing westward and northward and can be regarded
as the center of the future Dalian new urban area.
¡¡¡¡Based on the strategy ¡°Developing Westward and Northward¡±
and in order to enhance the development of northern urban area,
in March, 2004, Zhonghua Road Business District was formally
approved by the municipal government one of the biggest five
business districts of city level. Therefore, it has great potential
for development.¡¡¡¡
¡¡¡¡According to the legal document [2004] No.70
of Dalian for land programs, the programmed land area of Zhonghua
road business is 3.4 square kilometers, of which Huanan¡¯s own
land is 1.35 square meters.
¡¡¡¡Being one of the important city areas that need to develop in
the future, Zhonghua road business district will be built into
a well-functioned and well-equipped business district.
¡¡¡¡Zhonghua road business district is programmed into 5 sections of functions:
¡¡¢Ù¡¢ Business and trade circulation section: 1,246,000 square
meters ( of which the business area is 739,000; Financial service
area is 134,000 square meters; area of market flow of goods
and materials is 372,000 square meters.)
¡¡¢Ú¡¢ Food and beverage recreation section: 270,000 square meters
(of which food and beverage city covers 200,000 square meters;
the star-level hotels such as Zhonghua Grand Hotel take up 70,000
square meters.)
¡¡¢Û¡¢Culture and education section: 60,00 square meters.¡¡
¡¡¢Ü¡¢4. Ecological residence section: 640,000 square meters.
¡¡¢Ý¡¢5. Automobile industry band: 530,000 square meters.
¡¡¡¡Based on the program above, the general development aim of
Zhonghua road business district is: make full use of the advantage
of later development, it will be seeking new development compared
with the old business districts. The new development platform
of Dalian and the development elements of the new business and
modern service enable it to become a modern and international
new district which has enough room for development.

Area Advantage of Zhonghua Road Business District:
Land area to be used is big so that the business programming
is very flexible.
It lies at the entrance of the city and can form the remarkable buildings and can represent the business images.
The new railway station is going to be completed near this area, which is a very good chance and condition for development.
The business projects of this area are generally small in programming and less pressure of competition. In Zhonghua road business district, Huanan Group has exploited and built the business facilities, the floorage of which is nearly 400,000 square meters, including Zhongnan Mansion, Huanan Home-decoration Material Market, Huanan Walmart, Huanan Yiwu Small Commodity City, etc. and to go with them, there are three newly-built residence communities.
There is a population of about 600,000 around
